The Access Center for Independent Living (ACIL) IS excited to announce that the Access and Functional Needs Committee will have its next meeting on May 20th, 2024, from 2pm-3:30pm at our office with an additional opportunity to meet over Zoom virtually, please contact me for additional information, if needed.
This and future meetings will be open to anyone interested in participating. We are looking to have representatives from the area agency on aging, emergency preparedness coordinators, emergency management agencies, long-term care agencies, the Dayton deaf and hard of hearing community, local public health departments, emergency responders, and many others. We would also love to have representation from the access and functional needs community so that individuals can clearly clarify and describe the challenges that they face and the best ways to address them. Please continue to invite organizations from the community to participate in this meeting.
