The committee will discuss Senate Bill 213 which is is a bill to recognize supported decision-making as an alternative to guardianship in Ohio. Kristen Henry, Executive Director of Advocacy & Protectives Services, Inc. (APSI) Ohio will share the background of how the bill was developed, why it is an important step in expanding options for decision-making, and how advocates can be involved in the legislative process.
