Have you experienced an access and functional difficulty when calling 911 locally? ACIL has become aware that some people with access and functional needs in Dayton and surrounding communities have experienced difficulties when calling 911 for help during emergencies. ACIL is working with the local public health departments as well as other organizations on the Access and Functional Needs Committee to address this issue and hopefully ensure that local residents with disabilities have a better, smother experience when calling 911 in the future. If you have ever an access and/or function related difficulty when calling 911 locally, please share your experience on the dispatch compendium found here so that ACIL can make sure your voice is heard and the issue you experienced is addressed. We appreciate your input and your help.
