The Non Partisan Election Protection Network is a network assists voters and answer questions regarding elections. Recently, the network has received reports of problems with curbside voting for voters with disabilities. According to reports, there is sometimes a lack of signage and direction at curbside voting locations. Other times, voters are left in a bind and left unable to cast a ballot because poll workers are not trained properly. The network wants to make sure that these problems are resolved before the November election and ensure curbside voting is widely available and accessible for Ohioans with disabilities. The network is cohosting an election protection summit with the Ohio Voter Rights Coalition in Columbus at the League of Women Voters of Ohio (new) Offices at 471 E Broad Street from 10am to 3pm on July 13th to help make sure that goal is accomplished.
