2025 Schedule for the Breaking Silences Closed Community Collective meetings on Tuesdays from 5:30pm to 7pm:

Regular meetings will resume Tuesday, February 11, 2025, and will continue on the second Tuesday of each month throughout 2025.
Reminder: Closed meetings or (safe space) allows members of specific marginalized communities a space to talk more freely and not feel watched or placed in a position to educate. Closed meetings means that only folks who identify as an individual with a disability, any disability, is welcomed to attend. This would not include family members or allies, unless you have a disability.
Note: BSCCC will not meet on our regularly scheduled day/time in January 2025. However, we will have a Breaking Silences OPENED Community Collective Zoom Room/Space opened and available for anyone to join on Monday, January 20, 2025, from 11 AM to 3 PM EST. This space will be opened, and anyone can join at anytime.
I will send the link for this meeting about a week before the January meeting.
The intent is for solidarity and support for anyone seeking a safe space with what could be a difficult day for some. If, at any point, anyone becomes disrespectful they WILL be removed or if this space becomes hostile, we WILL immediately close it down.
We WILL have ASL Interpreters and C-Print Captionists for ALL 2025 meetings. I will send the link for these meetings about a week before the February meeting.
