Meeting Description: Our guests will be Teresa Kobelt, Chief Innovation Officer and Pete Moore, CEO & President of Ohio Provider Resource Association (OPRA). Other agency representatives are to be determined.
We will be discussing the occurrence of abuse and neglect within the DODD systems of individuals with IDD and DD. We welcome individuals with lived experience to participate in this discussion. Though we know that these topics and this discussion could be difficult for some individuals, we recognize the value of the knowledge that those with lived experiences would provide. We will respect everyone’s privacy by not recording this meeting and honoring an individual’s choice to keep their camera off, and list “anonymous” in place of an actual name.
Regarding workgroup minutes, we will NOT capture anyone’s personal story / experience or anything that would identify someone in any way. We will capture factual information provided to us by our agency guests. Workgroup members’ names will be reflected in minutes, but all other participants will only be listed by indicating the number of participants.
